Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas are the four counties constituting the Tampa-St. Pete-Clearwater areas - better known as Tampa Bay.  Further south, Manatee and Sarasota counties are highlighted by areas such as Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island and Lakewood Ranch.

TAMPA

Tampa is the largest city in the Tampa Bay area but is divided into a number of different, unique communities.  The majority of Tampa proper lies north of I-275 with the exception of South Tampa which includes the growing downtown area.  In January 2022, Zillow named Tampa Bay the top housing market in the nation. Yes, the entire US!  South Tampa is surrounded by water and flanked by the Downtown, Water Street and Channelside districts. North Tampa, Westchase and Carrollwood have more gated communities and/or a bit more acreage per homesite. Housing choices range from waterfront to golf course and from modern to historic. The areas public schools are consistently ranked as some of the best in Florida. Sports teams in Tampa Include: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lightning. 

ST. PETERSBURG

St. Petersburg, the 5th largest city in Florida, is located between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay.  Downtown St. Petersburg is the city’s heart with homes located on both the North and South side of town.  Recent growth of the downtown area, including the $80M renovation of the St Pete Pier,  has further enhanced the downtown’s growing social scene with St Pete now known as one of the most vibrant and walkable downtowns in Florida.  Shopping, Restaurant and activities / markets at the Pier are couple of the many things that make Downtown St Pete unique.  Sports team in St Pete include:  The Tampa Devil Rays.

CLEARWATER AND THE BEACHES

Clearwater and the Gulf Beach Communities of St. Pete Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Madeira Beach, Redington Beach and Treasure Island are all  ideal destinations for travelers of all ages and interests, occupying prime real estate along Florida’s stunning Gulf Coast. The Gulf beaches are consistently ranked among America’s most beautiful, offering miles of sugar white sand, tranquil Gulf breezes, and crystal clear waters. As a top, year round location for both leisure and business, Clearwater and the Beaches boast an endless supply of sun, warm weather, and great dining, along with extensive outdoor activities both on land and at sea.

ANNA MARIA ISLAND AND HOLMES BEACH

Anna Maria Island is divided into three cities: the city of Anna Maria in the North, Holmes Beach in the middle, and Bradenton Beach in the South.  Anna Maria Island is surrounded by the Intracoastal Waterway, Tampa Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico. On these shorelines, you’ll find some of the most picturesque beaches in the United States.  Each part of the island has its own unique charm and appeal from restaurants to attractions, dining, activities and much much more. 

SARASOTA 

The coastal community of Sarasota lies approximately an hour South of Tampa.  With a distinct vibe that is different from Florida's coastal cities, Sarasota boasts a vibrant arts scene, casual beach atmosphere and burgeoning restaurant scene.  There was once a time when Sarasota was dismissed as a playground for retirees, but that reputation is slowly changing as more young professionals begin to make it their own.  In fact, US News recently analyzed 150 metro areas in the US and ranked Sarasota: #1 - Best Places to Retire, #2 - Fastest Growing Places, #9 - Best Places to Live. 

LAKEWOOD RANCH

Lakewood Ranch is a large master-planned community that is located about halfway between Bradenton and Sarasota on Florida’s west coast.
