From Long Island to South Carolina, Dallas, San Diego, Connecticut and now Tampa, real estate has long-been an integral part of Jane’s life. She moved to Tampa in 2000, relocated to Fairfield County, CT for 5 years, and returned in 2017 to make South Tampa her forever home.
After attending Florida State, Jane played professional golf on the LPGA Tour for 20 years. Upon retiring from golf, she went on to complete her degree at the University of South Florida and then earned her JD from Stetson University College of Law. While living in Connecticut, Jane formalized her passion for real estate by earning her Real Estate Sales Associates license in 2015 and now, most recently, in Florida.
Throughout her playing career, Jane lived and owned property in a number of locations around the country. Not only did she invest residentially but also spent time involved in commercial projects that extended her knowledge on both the residential and commercial sides of the industry.
In both the early 2000 and today, Jane chose South Tampa to plant her roots and, in doing so, has established extensive knowledge of neighborhoods, local amenities and housing trends in the area. As a mother of school age twins, Jane also has real life experience with the variety of school options that Tampa has to offer.
Personally, Jane is a huge sports fan with an affinity for all teams - Tampa Bay! She enjoys boating, sports, classical piano and spending time with her wife, Gigi Fernandez, and twins, Karson and Madison.
“Nothing teaches patience more than the game of golf…a characteristic that I utilize with every client and every transaction!”
Patty has moved 9 times in her married life. Friends joke that she is more happy moving than not! During a time that may prove to be very stressful for most, Patty thrives and enjoys the entire process of buying, selling and moving. Heeding the advice of her friends, she decided to put her passion to work and took the opportunity to enter the real estate business.
Patty graduated with a Business Degree in Marketing from Boston University. Upon completion she returned back home to Puerto Rico where she worked as a Marketing Executive for Estée Lauder and, subsequently, earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) while working full time.
She earned her real estate license in Texas in 2014. She worked for RE/MAX Cinco Ranch in Katy, TX and was selected as Rookie of the Year in her first year practicing real estate. The following year, Patty and her family relocated to Atlanta, GA. In Georgia, she was under the leadership of RE/MAX Paramount Properties in Alpharetta, GA. In 2018, Patty and her family had the opportunity to relocate back to Tampa and, ultimately, made the move back to their “happy place”.
Patty is married to Mike, her husband of almost 30 years. Mike and Patty have 3 adult boys... Michael, Daniel and Nicholas. She enjoys playing pickleball, boating and spending time with family and her dog Bella.
Patty has earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) Designation, the SRS (Sellers Representative Specialist) Designation and the RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) Certification.
